Nigeria oil mogul and entrepreneur Sir Emeka Offor was born in Kafanchan situated in Kaduna state in 1957. He hails from Oraifite in Anambra state. He is the son of the late Bennett Offor. He attended Abbot Boys Secondary School and Merchant of Light School in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State where he sat for the First School Leaving Certificate in 1977. His journey to a successful business career started at an early age when he worked under his uncle who showed him the ropes on how to successfully run a business. After gathering enough experience from his uncle he moved on to establish his first business enterprise in the mid-90s called the Chrome Group. With steadfast doggedness, he was able to break into the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
